Biography

  • 1970: born in Villach, Austria

  • Started taking accordion lessons at age 6

  • Piano lessons as a teenager

  • 1989 – 1992: studied jazz piano at the Prayner Conservatory in Vienna

  • 1992 – 1997: studied "popular music keyboard instruments" with Heribert Kohlich at the University of Music and Performing Arts with minor in "classical piano"

  • 1998 – 2002 further studies in piano and composition with Sally Sargent in Vienna

  • Numerous concerts in Austria, such as with Oscar Klein, Luis Ribeiro, Judy Archer, Stella Jones, Jesse Frontin

  • 2001 – 2004: exclusive collaboration as American jazz and gospel singer Vera Love's accomopanist, with over 500 concerrts across Central Europe

  • 2002: moved to Germany

  • Since 2004: pianist in the "EYCF" band in Wiesbaden

  • Since 2005: close artistic collaboration with Dirko Juchem, joint bands and projects

  • Since 2005: arranger for "Schott Publishing House" in Mainz
  • Seit 2006: independent productions with Anne Simmering, Jörg Fürst, Bert Oberdorfer

  • 2004 – 2010: engagements with "Roncalli Varieté Orchester"

  • 2007 – 2009 pianist in Marla Glen Band

  • Since 2009: regular engagements as theatre musician, composer and arranger, such as with Mainfrankentheater Würzburg, Theater an der Luegallee Düsseldorf, Kabarett Klüngelpütz Cologne

  • Since 2011: artistic collaboration with philosopher and filmmaker Theo Roos, Dylan denken,Philosophische Vitamine

  • Since 2013: own studio in Lindenstraße, Cologne

  • Since 2013: collaboration with Radek Stawarz, joint pragramm: Uneven Suite
  • 2014: founded Tastensalon in Cologne www.tastensalon.de
